The gifts of nature
It's about that time of year again. That time when the leaves change and so does your wardrobe. That time where people feel a bit more generous than usual. People feel a little more for those around them. It's like nine months out of the year we get away with being selfish, but the cold front settles over and we think. Maybe just maybe I should bring a can good for this drive. Maybe I'll drop a dollar in the bucket or even let a small child have some of my favorite candies. Cold's a very intimate temperature. It brings us together in a strange sort of way. The way that we invited our best friend into our home for the first time and let them know a little about ourselves. We open up and give a little back. Following the barrage of holidays that comes it. Starting with a day for everyone to dress up and be who they truly want to be. Followed by a day to be thankful for those with us and those we've lost not to mention a feast that sates everyone's need for going out.
Then the swift transition from fall to winter. Fwinter. The coldest tears that would ever be enjoyed. Each snowflake is unique, never being like the other. Nature tells us a little about ourselves in the strangest. ways. Dressing warmer to treat snow the same way we played in water during the summer months. Calling our parents to watch and watching our children have the time of their lives.
With one of the most popular times of year. Selflessly giving unto other in hopes someone remember the things you, but at the same time just enjoying the faces on the children as the light up the same the tree in the middle of the room. Never forget after all the giving we have to do a little for ourselves, because the time for selfishness is right around corner. So on the last day of the year we celebrate the time passed and time to come by throwing a party for everyone to see.
